Kodachrome slides processed by Eastman Kodak between the years 1941 and 1959 are easily identified because they were always returned in cardboard mounts with red borders. The glicée prints offered here were created from vintage red border Kodachromes acquired on ebay. High resolution scanning, careful color correction, and the painstaking removal of dirt and scratches have saved these unique images from oblivion. All the photographers are anonymous. The period of red border Kodachromes represents a rich and wonderful source of vernacular imagery.
